FRS Transportation utilizes strict mandatory requirements for pre-employment of all employees.

A criminal background check is performed by contacting the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII). No one is hired who has an arrest record of any kind.

A driving record background check is performed by contacting the Ohio Department of Public Safety Bureau of Motor Vehicles for an Abstract Driving Record Check. No one is hired with a DUI or is guilty of a major at-fault accident.

Other requirements for employment are:

• high school diploma or GED
• must be 25 years of age or older and insurable
• must pass a company physical
• must pass an eye exam
• must pass a drug and alcohol screening
• professional and friendly with good communication skills

DRIVER TRAINING
Employees of FRS Trasnportation must complete the following training courses:

• Drug-Free Workplace (yearly)
• Confidentiality/HIPPA Compliancy (yearly)
• Bloodborne Pathogens (yearly)
• Cultural Diversity (yearly)
• Dual Relationships (yearly)
• CPR/First Aid/AED (every 2 years)
• National Safety Council's Defensive Driving
  (every 3 years)
• DRIVE: Transporting Older and Disabled Passengers (every 3 years)
